Carbon fiber composites and carbon fiber boards are becoming increasingly popular in high-end manufacturing because they are lightweight and strong. However, these materials have low surface energy and high chemical inertness, making it difficult for adhesives to bond them securely. To address this, we developed carbon fiber primer N548. It effectively activates the carbon fiber surface, transforming it from an inert state into one that is well-suited for bonding-ensuring strong, durable adhesion that meets the demanding requirements of high-strength industrial applications.

Before use, remember to add hardener F306. This allows the treatment layer to form a crosslinked structure, effectively improving the chemical resistance and thermal stability of the carbon fiber surface, ensuring reliable bond strength during adhesive application. Carbon fiber primer N548 works through a combination of cleaning, micro-etching, and chemical modification. After treatment, the wettability of the carbon fiber surface is significantly improved, resulting in stronger and more reliable bonds-no delamination or bond failure, even under extreme stress, vibration, or harsh environmental conditions.

N548 is widely used in the production of high-end athletic footwear, aerospace components, automotive parts, and various precision industrial composite products-especially in applications where lightweight construction, high strength, and long service life are critical requirements. 1. Before use, add 5–8% hardener F306 and mix thoroughly. The mixture should be used within 2 hours.
2. After cleaning the shoe material surface, apply this primer evenly using a brush or cloth.
3. Drying time: Dry in an oven at 65±5°C for 3–5 minutes before applying adhesive.
4. Apply the adhesive evenly and completely, avoiding insufficient coverage or excessive buildup.
