In the production of footwear, sports equipment, and various foam products, bonding EVA materials has always been a cumbersome process. Traditional methods often require sanding, which is not only time-consuming but also disrupts production rhythm. EVA Primer EV80 was developed specifically to solve this pain point. Its biggest advantage is that it completely eliminates the sanding step and does not require UV or electron beam curing, greatly simplifying the entire pretreatment process while delivering stable bonding results and uniform surface finish-truly improving overall production line efficiency.

This primer features excellent yellow resistance, making it highly suitable for white or light-colored EVA materials. It maintains long-term color stability, preventing yellowing or discoloration. While activating the EVA surface and enhancing adhesion, it does not damage the foam structure or affect the material's appearance.

In practical use, it needs to be mixed with a hardener. Generally, it is recommended to add 5–10% Hardener F306. For white or light-colored EVA materials where color appearance is critical, Hardener F309 at 5–10% is preferred, as it offers better anti-yellowing performance and helps preserve the material's original color. After brushing on the mixed primer, it forms a uniform adhesive base layer, making subsequent bonding stronger and more reliable.

EVA Primer EV80 is compatible with a wide range of EVA materials, including molded, compression-molded, and cross-linked EVA foams. Used before processes such as midsole bonding, insole lamination, and sports shoe assembly, it effectively improves material bondability. For manufacturers, eliminating both the sanding and curing steps not only significantly increases pretreatment efficiency but also ensures more reliable bonding quality.

1. Before use, add 5–10% hardener (F306) and mix thoroughly. For white materials, please use hardener F309 accordingly.
2. After cleaning the shoe material surface, evenly apply this primer using a brush or cloth.
3. Drying time: Dry in an oven at 55±5°C for 2–4 minutes before applying adhesive. The time between treatment and adhesive application should not exceed 20 minutes.
4. To ensure optimal performance, the mixed primer (with hardener added) should be used within 4 hours.
5. Apply the adhesive evenly and completely, avoiding insufficient coverage or excessive buildup.
