In footwear manufacturing, where precision is critical, whether advanced composite materials bond reliably largely depends on how well the surface preparation is done. PU/PVC Primer 206F is a surface treatment agent developed specifically to solve difficult bonding problems. PU material primers 206F is designed for use on PU soles, PU/PVC leather, and various coated materials-substrates known to be hard to bond-and after treatment, it turns them into clean, activated surfaces ready for adhesive application.

This primer works because of its strong penetration and good cleaning ability. It removes contaminants like release agents and plasticizer bloom, while mild etching creates a micro-rough surface. This increases surface energy and enhances mechanical interlocking-both key to achieving strong, stable bonds. It performs especially well on tricky substrates like painted PU, wax-finished PU, and PU soles. However, be careful not to use it on certain synthetic PU or highly plasticized materials, as it may over-penetrate.

After brushing, be sure to oven-dry. This step ensures complete solvent evaporation and full activation of the treated surface, which is critical for bond durability and water resistance. PU material primer 206F is especially suitable for key processes such as sole bonding, upper attachment, and multi-layer material lamination. It helps improve bonding reliability, reduce rework rates, and make athletic shoes, casual shoes, and fashion footwear more durable.

1. After cleaning the shoe material surface, evenly apply this primer using a brush or cloth.
2. Drying time: Dry in an oven at 55±5°C for 2–4 minutes before applying the adhesive.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly and completely, avoiding insufficient coverage or excessive buildup.
