Water-based adhesives (referred to as "water-based glues") are a type of environmentally friendly adhesive that uses water as the primary dispersion medium. They are widely used in footwear, packaging, automotive, construction, electronics, and many other fields. China has issued several industry standards for water-based adhesives targeting different application scenarios.

The production and use of water-based adhesives must comply with a series of national and industry standards. These standards clearly stipulate the environmental performance, physical properties, and chemical properties of water-based adhesives to ensure their quality and safety. For example, my country has strict limits on the VOC (volatile organic compound) content of water-based adhesives to reduce environmental pollution.

When using water-based adhesives, several points should be noted. First, the appropriate type of water-based adhesive and bonding process should be selected based on the material and shape of the objects being bonded. Second, the bonding temperature and humidity should be carefully controlled to ensure bonding effectiveness. Furthermore, attention should be paid to the storage and transportation conditions of the water-based adhesives, avoiding direct sunlight and high-temperature environments to prevent affecting the adhesive's performance.
