International standard ISO 37 clearly defines parameters such as tensile strength and elongation at break for vulcanized rubber. High-quality products should meet the following requirements: tensile strength ≥ 10 MPa, elongation at break ≥ 300%, and Shore A hardness 60 ± 5. When selecting a type, three parameters should be considered:

1) Vulcanization speed: fast-curing types (5-15 minutes) are suitable for assembly line operations, while slow-curing types (1-4 hours) are suitable for bonding complex structures;

2) Applicable temperature range: general-purpose types are suitable for -40℃ to +80℃, while high-temperature types can reach +200℃;

3) Environmental protection level: food-grade products must be FDA certified, and industrial-grade products must comply with RoHS standards.

 

GB/T 528-2009 "General Technical Conditions for Vulcanized Rubber" This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, and testing methods for vulcanized rubber, including indicators such as appearance, degree of vulcanization, tensile strength, elongation at break, hardness after vulcanization, heat resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, and processability.

 

GB/T 1232-2005 General Rules for Test Methods of Vulcanized Rubber This standard specifies the general requirements and test methods for vulcanized rubber, including sample preparation, test conditions and methods, calculation and reporting of test results, etc.
