Nylon treatment agents are chemical additives used to improve the adhesion between the surface of nylon (PA) and its modified materials (such as nylon with glass fiber, nylon with carbon fiber, etc.) and paint, ink, adhesives, or vacuum electroplating layers. They solve problems such as poor coating adhesion and paint peeling caused by the low surface energy and high crystallinity of nylon materials by activating the nylon surface, increasing polarity, and disrupting molecular arrangement.

 

Their core function is to improve the wettability, adhesion, and weather resistance of nylon by chemically or physically altering its surface properties. Nylon treatment agents typically contain silane coupling agents, surfactants, solvents, etc., effectively solving the bonding difficulties caused by the low surface energy of nylon materials.

 

Nylon treatment agents are widely used in automotive parts, electronics, packaging materials, textile fibers, and other fields. For example, in the automotive industry, nylon treatment agents are used to treat nylon gears, bearings, and other components to improve their adhesion strength to metal parts; in the electronics industry, they are used to treat nylon housings or insulating materials to ensure reliable adhesion to circuit boards or other components.
