Grafted CR adhesive (an adhesive made by grafting neoprene rubber and methyl methacrylate) requires special attention to its chemical stability and safety during storage and transportation.
Grafted adhesive products are typically packaged in metal drums, commonly 14.5 kg/drum or 15 kg/drum. During storage, the temperature should be maintained between 5 and 30°C. The shelf life is generally 6 months at 25°C. The product must be stored in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire, heat sources, and direct sunlight, and the containers must be kept sealed. Because the product contains volatile solvents, the handling area must be away from heat sources and open flames, using explosion-proof equipment and maintaining good ventilation. In case of leakage, construct dikes or dig pits to contain the spill and cover with foam. Firefighting methods include using alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, or sand.
Shelf Life: Recommended for use within 6 months, following the "first-in, first-out" principle.
Container Requirements: Use sealed containers to prevent solvent evaporation, drying, crusting, or contamination; do not allow direct contact with ferrous metal containers.
Environmental Notes: Color may change naturally during storage due to chemical properties, which is normal; however, avoid direct sunlight and moisture.
